Hope in the Waiting Room

Mar 22, 2026    Pastor Joe Arnold

In this sermon on Psalm 27:14, The Waiting Room, we explored how seasons of delay, uncertainty, and unanswered questions are often the places where God does some of His deepest work in us. Waiting is not passive resignation or trust in circumstances getting better; it is active faith in the character of God. Psalm 27:14 shows us that while we wait on the Lord, He gives strength to weary hearts, forms courage in the middle of fear, and teaches us hope. Most importantly, we were reminded that we do not wait alone—Jesus meets us in our suffering, stands with us in our uncertainty, and through His death and resurrection gives us resurrection hope that assures us God is still working, even when we cannot yet see it.
